NLM Photonics’ Graduation from the Creative Destruction Lab Program
We’re proud to announce NLM Photonics’ graduation from the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) Program’s 2024/2025 cycle. The CDL-Vancouver Compute Stream started with around 20 companies, and NLM along with 8 other ventures graduated from the program. Congratulations to everyone!
CDL is a nonprofit organization that delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage science- and technology-based companies. They run a nine-month program, allowing founders to learn from experienced entrepreneurs. These connections help founders increase their likelihood of success.
Along with our Compute Stream cohort founders, we spent the past year honing our strategies, scaling our technologies, and driving breakthroughs across artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and data infrastructure. We pushed against limits and expanded our vision because, as CDL reminded us often, Build Something Massive!
“While NLM is a later-stage startup for participation in the CDL program, we saw this as a great opportunity to connect with a larger pool of expertise,” stated Brad Booth, NLM’s CEO. “It was great being able to reconnect with former Canadian colleagues and to meet so many talented entrepreneurs and mentors. We really appreciate the guidance and insight we received during the program, and we look forward to staying connected to this community as NLM’s adventure continues.”
CDL’s program has an equity value creation of $46B of successful commercialization of cutting-edge science achieved through the program, and their alumni include 7,500 founders representing over 2,900 companies. We couldn’t be prouder to be part of CDL.
