We appreciate every one of you. Thank you for believing in us!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Brief highlights from 2024 (so far!)&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">This year, we welcomed industry veteran <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlmphotonics.com\/2024\/03\/25\/brad-booth-new-ceo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"NLM Photonics Names Brad Booth as New CEO&nbsp;\">Brad Booth as our new CEO<\/a>. His leadership heralds a new era of NLM, built on our foundational science, ever-improving R&amp;D, incredible partnerships, and commitment to meeting industry needs. We also welcomed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlmphotonics.com\/2024\/01\/23\/new-chief-financial-officer-vijay-raghavan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"NLM Photonics Announces New Chief Financial Officer\">Vijay Raghavan as fractional CFO<\/a> and received our first financial venture capital investment from Pack VC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We received contracts from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlmphotonics.com\/2023\/10\/02\/nasa-grant-for-hybrid-organic-electro-optic-modulation-in-space-applications\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"NASA Awards Grant to NLM Photonics to Work with AIM Photonics on Hybrid Organic Electro-Optic Modulation for Space Applications&nbsp;\">NASA<\/a> and AFWERX to design and fabricate chips at AIM Photonics and evaluate our technology for those government agencies. We have seen great results from the designs developed for our NASA project, and we\u2019ve just kicked off our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlmphotonics.com\/2024\/07\/30\/us-air-force-awards-nlm-million-dollar-contract\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"U.S. Air Force Awards NLM Photonics $1.8 Million Contract&nbsp;\">$1.8 million AFWERX contract<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We\u2019ve now occupied our offices and lab spaces at the CoMotion startup hub on the University of Washington campus for over a year. This home has further expanded our capabilities with fully NLM-dedicated spaces, connecting with other local startups and being conveniently above the Washington Nanofabrication Facility for access to state-of-the-art tooling. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entering an NLM revolution&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">NLM tackles the bandwidth and power efficiency needs of AI and other demanding applications. Combining chemistry and chip design, we add new capabilities to silicon photonics and other platforms.
